Drawing on experience and relationships that she has acquired over 15 years of working with the media and handling crises for both the public and private sectors, Ms. Jonah brings unsurpassed public relations capability to Howell Communications’ clients.

Pamela Jonah has more than 15 years experience providing strategic public relations services to business, political leaders, non-profit organizations and cultural institutions.

Ms. Jonah has served as a press officer for three Massachusetts’ governors. She handled communications strategy for several major government initiatives, including the Governor’s Domestic Violence Commission, as well as several crises and controversies, including fatal shootings at two abortion clinics.

Prior to joining the Governor’s office, Ms. Jonah was Deputy Director of Communications for the Massachusetts Department of Revenue's Child Support Enforcement Division, promoting "The Most Wanted" list of delinquent parents—an initiative that received national and international media coverage.

She also served as spokesperson for the Massachusetts Department of Correction, handling numerous crises and controversies involving the prison system.

A graduate of Suffolk University, Ms. Jonah is a frequent speaker to government and public relations students at area universities, a member of the advisory board for the North Shore Spirit and a member of North Shore Women in Business.
